Family Centers Salutes Bob Short for 46 Years of Service
After 46 years of dedicated service to Family Centers, Senior Vice President Bob Short (aka Family Centers’ Mr. Fix-It) is retiring on June 30 to enjoy some well-earned rest, reading time and travel.
During his tenue, Bob oversaw the operation of multiple programs, facilities, credentialing, and many other tasks. Having been instrumental in the and licensing of Family Centers’ programs for decades, Bob was a key contributor to the agency’s successful bid to become Joint Commission accredited. Bob was also seen regularly at each of Family Centers’ 18 facilities – often with his toolbox in tow to make necessary repairs and improvements.
“In four decades, I haven’t seen anyone as committed to the organization and its vision to do everything to keep it moving, said Family Centers’ CEO Bob Arnold. “Bob always happily answered the call and is someone who could always be counted on. He’s a true Family Centers phenomenon.”
In addition to Bob’s professional accomplishments, many staff at Family Centers will remember his perennial cheerful and positive attitude no matter the issue at hand, including mundane plumbing tasks and parking logistics.
Bob, you are truly one of a kind and your impact will always be woven into the fabric of Family Centers. Enjoy your retirement!
